My story

Hi, I’m George Tsagkadopoulos.

I was born in Greece in 1978 and during my childhood I was raised in an environment full of music influenced by many different genres.
As a teenager, in 1993, I felt for the very first time the need to play pre-recorded music for other people to enjoy during a New Years Eve party. There was simply something about “playing a tune and making other people happy” that I couldn’t resist. I spent the rest of my teenage summers by going on a local café every evening, selecting tracks and learning the basics of DJ mixing.
In 1996 I left my home town to attend university. Soon enough I got my first paying job as a Disk Jockey while I was still taking university courses. During those years I explored more music genres, while I kept playing at various private parties and doing some guest appearances at local Clubs.
In 2002 I did my first wedding reception gig. Quickly enough I started getting booked for many more wedding reception gigs and a few corporate events, alongside the private parties and guest appearances I was doing already. From the very first few private parties I understood that the needs of each event are unique. Thus since then it has become my moto, that “Every event is unique” not only because of it’s needs in music terms, but also because of the unique moments, feelings and emotions created during those events.
In 2006 I returned to my home town, Trikala, and soon enough I resumed my DJ career. During winter seasons I held some iconic residencies on small local Clubs and Pubs, while during summer seasons I was doing mostly wedding receptions and other private events.
I kept holding residencies on winter seasons until March 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out.
In the post lockdowns era, I still keep doing wedding receptions and private events, while I also do guest appearances at various Clubs around Greece and Europe.
Besides being a Disk Jockey, I’m also an active Surveyor – Topographer/Land Engineer and an active Software Developer.
